Roselle Park School District is proud to offer free preschool to residents, ages 3 and 4 years old.  Students must be 3 years old by October 1, 2021 to be eligible.  Our preschool program is run in each of our three elementary school buildings.

Our goal in Roselle Park is to provide all preschool students with a warm, welcoming learning environment where children feel safe and ready to learn. Our staff use multiple teachable moments throughout the course of the day to foster learning by allowing students to explore and ask questions.

Our classrooms are all designed with learning centers that reflect the children’s interests.  Our teachers provide countless activities and choices based on these interests in accordance to the HighScope Curriculum.

Our curriculum is aligned to the Preschool Teaching and Learning Standards.  It is evidence-based and comprehensive to meet the needs of all of our learners.

HighScope Preschool Curriculum is a comprehensive, child-based curriculum that fosters active learning through the learning environment (your child’s classroom), adult-child interactions, daily routines and assessment.  This curriculum is aligned with the New Jersey Preschool Teaching and Learning Standards.

We are committed to celebrating our diverse community and we value family and community partnerships.
