K-2 SUMMER REMEDIATION PROGRAM – English Language Arts

Teachers –NJ Teacher certification required

June 29 – July 31 - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (15 total days)

Virtual Literacy Instruction 3 days per week 8:30-9:15 am or 4:00-4:45 pm

20 hours (15 instructional/5 planning/preparation)

Paid contractual hourly rate of $34.83

3-8 SUMMER REMEDIATION PROGRAM – English Language Arts

  • Teachers will use Google Classroom to communicate expectations to students
  • Teachers will review work/data, to curate approximately 1.5 hours of asynchronous/independently weekly work for students, in addition to T/Th virtual instruction
  • 15 hours (10 instructional; 5 planning/preparation)

Paid contractual hourly rate of $34.83

Teachers –NJ Teacher certification required

June 28 – July 31 – Mondays/Wednesdays (10 synchronous days)

Virtual Support/Instruction Mon/Wed 8:30-9:15 am or 4:00-4:45 pm

  • Teachers will use Google Classroom to communicate expectations
  • Teachers will review work/data, to curate approximately 1.5 hours of asynchronous/independently work for students, in addition to M/W virtual instruction
  • 15 hours (10 instructional; 5 planning/preparation)

Paid contractual hourly rate of $34.83

1. Link It Team Leader
Effective August 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022
 
Responsibilities/Expectations for the role:
  • Setup/manage data locker and proficiency bands after Genesis roll over (July/August)
  • Collaborate with building leads to develop agendas for Link It training/support sessions, K-12
  • Participate in bi-monthly meeting (6 total) with Curriculum Director and/or principals (3:15-4:15pm on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays)
  • Participate in Fall/Spring Link It User group events

Stipend of $2500 Funded by ESEA Grant to support K-12 staff
 
 
 
2. Link It Lead Teacher for Parent and Student Support
Effective September 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022
 
Responsibilities/Expectations for the role:
  • Support Student/Parent Portal usage by students and parents
  • Participate in preparation meetings (2-3) with Curriculum Director (3-4 pm Tues and/or Thurs)
 
Stipend of $1000 Funded by ESEA Grant to support students and parents in grades K-12

 
 
3. Professional Development Coordinator
Effective August 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022 
 
Responsibilities/Expectations for the role:
  • Maintain Genesis Professional Development Tab
  • Create PD events in Genesis Employee Portal (with direction from Curriculum Office, Technology Dept, and/or building principals)
  • Print/email sign-in sheets to PD providers 24 hours prior to PD offerings
  • Provide refresher training to staff in each building, as needed (5-15 minutes)
  • Participate in preparation meetings (3-4) with Curriculum Director (3-4pm on Tues and/or Thurs)
Stipend of $1500 Funded by ESEA Grant to support staff and administration
 
 
 
4. Data Analyst Instructional Leader – English Language Arts
5. Data Analyst Instructional Leader – Mathematics 
Effective August 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022 Responsibilities/Expectations for the role:
  • Create, circulate, and/or modify data/reports from district systems
  • Link It, Genesis, Google Classroom
  • Support staff needs related to reporting and data entry;
  • Provide refresher training (or training outline) to staff in each building;
  • Manage Standards Based Learning and Summer Enrichment Program schedules, student rosters/data, instructional resources;
  • Support staff, students, and parents involved in after school program, as needed
  • Participate in monthly meetings (8-10) with Curriculum Director/Admin Team (3-4pm on Tues and/or Thurs)
Stipend of $2500 Funded by ESEA Grant to support staff and administration

 
 
6. Project Based Learning (PBL) Program Coordinator
Effective August 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022
 
Responsibilities/Expectations for the role:
  • Refine planning template for PBL experience; support teacher preparation for PBL experiences in Fall (Oct-Dec) or Winter (Feb-April) session.
  • Establish/manage PBL schedule, develop student rosters with Data Analysts; support staff, students, and parents involved in each PBL, as needed
  • Create Google Classroom shell for each PBL teacher
  • Manage equipment/subscription/resource identification and procurement with Curriculum Office Secretary and PBL teachers
  • Support staff in the alignment/maintenance of the appropriate curricula to 2020 standards
  • Participate in all Curriculum Council meetings (3-4 annually)

Stipend of $2500 Funded by ESSER II Grant to support staff and administration

 
 
7. Science Implementation Coordinator/Coach K-8
Effective August 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022
 
Responsibilities/Expectations for the role:
  • Provide ongoing curriculum support, PD on standards and implementation
  • Support staff in the alignment/maintenance of the appropriate curricula to 2020 standards
  • Lead contact for equipment/science resources
  • Coordinate assessment procedures/expectations

Stipend of $1500 Funded by ESEA Grant (Title IIA) to support staff and administration

Responsibilities/Expectations for the role:
  • Provide ongoing curriculum support, PD on standards and implementation
  • Support staff in the alignment/updating/maintenance of the appropriate curricula to 2020 standards
  • Coordinate cross-content integration of SS/ELA curricula, as appropriate

Stipend of $1500 Funded by ESEA Grant (Title IIA) to support staff and administration
 
 
 
10. ESL Newcomer/Port of Entry Student Support Coordinator
Effective August 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022 
 
Responsibilities/Expectations for the role:
  • Provide ongoing curriculum support, PD on standards/WIDA guidelines and implementation of Newcomer/POE curricula
  • Support staff in the alignment/updating/maintenance of the appropriate curricula to 2020 standards
  • Coordinate ESL Dept. Articulation Meeting agendas;
