Career Counseling

Career counseling is woven throughout the interactions all counselors have with their students.  Some examples of career counseling in the RPSD schools include: classroom lessons on specific career clusters, individual goal-setting and future planning meetings, career assessment completion and much more.

The college and career search platform Naviance, provides 9-12th grade students in the RPSD an opportunity to explore their career interests, search for careers, access applicable employment outlook information and more.

Students are exposed to career opportunities at all academic levels through special career focused celebration days, by visiting local educational facilities, career visit programming to our district’s schools and through the shared-time partnership with the Union County Vocational Technical Schools.
