Program
Philosophy:
The goal of the Roselle Park Summer Camp program, under the
auspices of the Roselle Park Board of Education, is to meet
the needs of the community's youth. As part of the school's
effort to meet these needs and expand community services, it
has established the Summer Camp Program to provide professional
supervision at a nominal cost for the community's children.
Program Design:
The Summer Camp has been carefully designed to provide quality
care in a safe, pleasant environment. The program affords each
child a wide variety of educational and recreational opportunities,
including supervised play activities, arts and crafts, indoor
and outdoor games, computers, swimming, music, theater, and
dance to name a few. Movies, contests, and special theme days
are also planned.
Program Operation:
The Summer Camp program operates five days a week from June 23rd through August 15th, 2008. Students may be enrolled for any
number of weeks that the program operates, and for any sessions(s)
the parent/guardians choose.
Location:
The Summer Camp program is located at the Roselle Park High
School. This site was selected because of availability and the
school's accessibility for physically challenged students.
The Roselle Park Summer Camp 2008 will once again offer a wide variety of programs. This year we will once again be offering a Full Day Preschool. In addition to our regular classes there will be a number of new activities, which include: Reading & Writing/Math Class, Sports Clinics and much more.
Camp opens on June 23rd through August 15th, 2008
