Membership, although open to any man in Roselle Park, has always been the toughest
challenge for the club. All of the projects that the club under takes requires time and
money to accomplish and the club’s membership is the driving force behind these
accomplishments. There have been many members over the club’s history but keeping
a consistent number of enthusiastic members is critical to the success of the club.
Bringing in young blood with new ideas while maintaining the tradition and character the
long time members bring to the club has always been a top priority. People tend to stop
attending meetings once their children graduate, although it is not at all unusual to have
members of over 30 years at our meetings.
The club collects no dues and all that is required from its membership is attendance at a
monthly meeting. These meetings are also attended by the high school coaches who
report on the progress of their teams for the current season and by the school administration
who lend their support and thanks. On occasion special guest speakers are invited.
Members are also treated to refreshments at all meetings.
