2007 Dads Club Scholarship Recipients

A scholarship of $250.00 per year to a male
and $250.00 per year to a female member of the graduating class intending to
continue studies in a four-year college. This scholarship is for a
four-year period contingent upon the maintenance of the scholarship
requirements of the school attended. Selection will be made by a committee
composed of the high school principal, high school guidance counselor, and
non-school member of the Dad’s Club. Selection will be based on academic
ability (50%), character (30%), leadership (15%), and extracurricular
participation (5%). The recipients of this award must have been a varsity
athletic letter winner for more than one (1) year.

scholastic averages at RPHS and intend to further their education.

athletes and two $200.00 scholarships to two female athletes furthering
their education. The athlete should have earned at least 3 varsity letters
in one sport or 4 total letters in multiple sports, and achieved first or
second team all conference, county, or state recognition, and be in good
scholastic standing.

the Marching Band and a $200.00 scholarship to a female member of the
Marching Band.

A scholarship award of $100.00 to a male athlete and $100.00 scholarship
to a female athlete intending to further their education. The scholarship award
will be known as the Dad’s Club Frank and Tony Orlando (Golden Gloves) Memorial
Scholarships. The criteria for this award is to be a relative of a Dad’s Club
member and will be awarded by the Dad’s Club Scholarship Committee.

A $150.00 scholarship to a male varsity
tennis player and $150.00 scholarship to a female varsity tennis player
known as the Dad’s Club Pellegrino Giameo Award. The candidates must be
furthering their education and have received at least 2 varsity letters in
tennis.
