Starting Monday, April 6, children throughout New Jersey will be able to tune into NJTV,
New Jersey’s public television network, for NJTV Learning Live, a program featuring lessons taught by
New Jersey teachers.

Each weekday, NJTV Learning Live will offer four programs for grades 3 to 6. Th
ird-grade instruction
begins at 9 a.m.; fourth-grade programming is at 10 a.m.; fifth grade is 11 a.m.; and sixth-grade
instruction begins at noon. Subjects will include English language arts, math, science, social studies, and
a “special” such as art, music or physical education.

Free and Reduced Meal Information while Schools are Closed

Please be reminded that we will continue to feed our families that are eligible for free and reduced breakfasts and lunches. These families may pick up their breakfasts and lunches as follows:

For those without internet access at home: Xfinity WiFi hotspots across the country will be available to anyone who needs them for free – including non-Xfinity Internet subscribers. For a map of Xfinity WiFi hotspots, visit www.xfinity.com/wifi. Once at a hotspot, consumers should select the “xfinitywifi” network name in the list of available hotspots and then launch a browser.

Visitor’s Policy
:
All visitors shall be required to report to the principal’s office upon entering the school building. No staff member shall transact business with or permit the continuing presence in any district school of a visitor who has not been duly registered with the    principal’s office. No one will be allowed entry without prior appointment. No one will be allowed entry without prior appointment.
  • All visitors to the schools will require a prior appointment (at least 15 minutes notice) stating the reason for the appointment.
  • If a student has a scheduled appointment, such as a doctor/dentist appointment, the  student’s parent/guardian must provide the student’s teacher with written correspondence, such as an email or note, advising the teacher of the time of the student’s pick up from school.
  • In case of the early release of a student from school, visitors must present personal photo identification in order for the school to release the student to the visitor.
